South Korea remains one of the most underbooked destinations in Asia — despite offering an extraordinary mix of ancient heritage, modern cities, coastal scenery, and food culture that rivals anywhere in the world. For travel agencies looking to diversify their Asia portfolio, a well-crafted Korea itinerary is one of the easiest sells you can make.

This 7-day program — Seoul, Gyeongju, and Busan — is our most requested B2B package. Here's a full breakdown of how it works, what makes it flow, and what your clients will talk about long after they return.

Overview: Why This Route Works

The Seoul–Gyeongju–Busan triangle covers three completely different experiences in a compact, logical route. Your clients start in one of Asia's most dynamic capitals, travel back 2,000 years into Korean history in Gyeongju, then finish at the coast in Busan — relaxed, sun-warmed, and ready to fly home or connect onward to Japan.

B2B Tip

This itinerary ends in Busan, which has direct flights to Tokyo, Osaka, and other Japanese cities. It pairs perfectly with a Japan extension for clients doing a dual-country trip.

Day-by-Day Breakdown

Day 1–3

Seoul

Three days in Seoul gives your clients enough time to feel the city without rushing. We recommend starting with an e-bike tour through the historic districts — Gyeongbokgung Palace, Bukchon Hanok Village, and Insadong — followed by a contrast visit to the modern districts of Gangnam and Hongdae. Day 3 works well for the DMZ if your clients want the history experience, or a more relaxed market and food day.

Day 4

Gyeongju

A private full-day tour of Gyeongju is the cultural highlight of the entire trip. Bulguksa Temple, Seokguram Grotto, the royal Daereungwon tomb park, and Cheomseongdae Observatory — all within a short drive of each other. We arrange a hanok stay overnight here, which clients consistently rate as a trip highlight.

Day 5–6

Busan

Two full days in Busan: Haedong Yonggungsa sea temple, Gamcheon Culture Village, Jagalchi fish market, and Haeundae Beach. The pace is slower here — intentionally. After the energy of Seoul and the history of Gyeongju, Busan's coastal atmosphere is the perfect way to end a program.

Day 7

Departure

Departure from Gimhae International Airport (Busan) or return to Seoul via KTX for international connections. We handle all logistics including transfer and luggage coordination.

Transport Between Cities

All intercity travel is arranged by us. The standard setup uses KTX high-speed rail from Seoul to Gyeongju (approx. 2 hours) and Gyeongju to Busan (30 minutes). For groups preferring flexibility, we can arrange a private coach for the full route.

Logistics Note

KTX seats can sell out in peak seasons (April, October, December). We book rail as soon as your client confirmation comes in — early booking is standard in our B2B process.

Accommodation Options

This package runs on 3★ or 4★ properties as standard, with 5★ upgrades available on request. The Gyeongju hanok stay is always included — it's non-negotiable for the cultural experience, and clients love it. In Seoul we work with well-located business hotels in Myeongdong or Mapo; in Busan, beachside hotels in Haeundae.
